Canada is officially bilingual, but Canadian cable packages rarely are. An anglophone household in Ontario gets a token Radio-Canada feed; a francophone household in Montreal pays extra for TSN; and a mixed family in Ottawa or Moncton ends up with two bills and two remotes. IPTV treats the two languages as one lineup. This article lays out the French and English channels in WorldIPTV's Canada package, how they are organized in the guide, and how bilingual households set them up.

How the bilingual lineup is organized

The Canada package is split into two groups, "Canada EN" and "Canada FR", so you can favorite one, both, or merge them. Each group has its own EPG in the matching language, and the player apps we recommend (TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro, IBO Player) let you set the interface language independently of the channel group. A family can therefore run the app in English with French channels favorited, or vice versa. The full Canadian picture, including pricing and devices, is in the IPTV Canada guide.

English-language channels in Canada

The English group mirrors what a Bell, Rogers or Telus subscriber would expect, plus the American border feeds Canadians have always had.

NewsCBC News Network, CTV News Channel, CP24, BNN Bloomberg
SportsTSN 1-5, Sportsnet East/Ontario/West/Pacific/One/360, Sportsnet World

Catch-up covers the previous 7 days on the main channels, and the on-demand library holds 80,000+ movies and series with a large English section.

French-language channels in Canada

The French group is not an afterthought. It carries the Quebec networks, the specialty channels and, because WorldIPTV also has a full France package, the channels from France that no Canadian cable provider bundles cheaply.

The channels from France matter to two audiences: Quebecers who want French cinema and European football, and French expats in Canada who want home. For the latter, see Watch French TV abroad with IPTV. Catch-up runs for 7 days on the main French channels too, which is how Montrealers watch a 20h programme from Paris at 20h local time.

Sport in both languages

Hockey is the clearest example of why one bilingual guide beats two cable packages. A Canadiens game can be on Sportsnet in English, RDS or TVA Sports in French, and a US feed on ESPN, all in the same evening. On WorldIPTV all four are in the guide, so a household can watch the French call in the living room and the English call on a tablet with a second connection.

  • NHL: Sportsnet, CBC, TSN regional games (English); RDS, TVA Sports (French).
  • CFL and Alouettes: TSN (English) and RDS (French).
  • Soccer: MLS and CF Montréal on TSN and RDS; Ligue 1 on beIN Sports France; Premier League on Sportsnet, TSN and the UK feeds.
  • Formula 1 and the Canadian Grand Prix: TSN, RDS, and Canal+ from France.
  • Olympics and international events: CBC and Radio-Canada side by side.

Prices and connections for bilingual households

Prices on the Canada page are in Canadian dollars and cover both language groups; there is no "French add-on".

Plan1 connection2 connections (+40%)3 connections (+75%)
1 monthC$16C$22.40C$28
3 monthsC$34C$47.60C$59.50
6 monthsC$48C$67.20C$84
12 monthsC$89C$124.60C$155.75

Two connections is the popular choice for bilingual families, because it is exactly the situation where two people want different languages at the same time. Every plan has a 7-day money-back guarantee, and the 24-hour free trial requires no card. Current prices are on the pricing page.

How to set up a bilingual guide

  1. Request the free trial and note the Xtream Codes details in the email.
  2. Install a player. TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro on Fire TV or Android TV; IBO Player on Samsung or LG; IPTV Smarters on Apple TV and iOS. If your app only takes a URL, use the M3U link from the playlists page.
  3. Log in and let the channel list and EPG download. Set the app language (Settings > Language) to whichever you prefer; it does not affect the channels.
  4. Open the group list and favorite "Canada EN" and "Canada FR". In TiviMate, you can also create a custom group that merges both, with sports first.
  5. Set the EPG time zone to your local zone (Eastern, Atlantic, Pacific) so both the Canadian and the French guides show the right hour.
  6. On a paid plan, activation completes within 5-15 minutes of order confirmation.

Support is available 24/7 in French and English by live chat, WhatsApp and email. Servers in North America keep latency low; the status page shows live performance.

Deux langues, une seule facture. Start your 24-hour free trial and see Radio-Canada and CTV in the same guide tonight.

FAQ

Does IPTV in Canada include Radio-Canada, TVA and Noovo?
Yes. The "Canada FR" group carries ICI Radio-Canada Télé with regional feeds, TVA, Noovo, Télé-Québec, RDI and LCN, plus the French specialty channels and RDS and TVA Sports for sport.
Can I get channels from France as well as Quebec?
Yes. The same login includes the France package, so TF1, France 2, M6, Arte, Canal+ and beIN Sports sit alongside the Quebec channels. Subscribers are responsible for complying with local laws; WorldIPTV distributes content under its own service terms.
Can two people watch in different languages at the same time?
Yes, with a second connection, which adds 40% to the plan price. One screen can show the RDS call of a Canadiens game while another shows the Sportsnet call or a different channel entirely.
Is customer support available in French?
Yes. Support runs 24/7 in French and English by live chat, WhatsApp and email, and the player apps can be set to French independently of which channel groups you use.
